Primarily working in gouache and ink illustration, Helen Robinson is an artist from Ilkley, based in Glasgow, who graduated in Fine Art: Painting and Printmaking from The Glasgow School of Art in 2018. Also working in film and installation, her practice is about feelings of guilt, hope and temptation and the confusion of right or wrong. She draws influence from allegory, religion and fable.
Helen has exhibited at The Laurieston Arches, The Old Hairdressers and The Glasgow School of Art. She will be undertaking a residency with 16 Nicholson Street Gallery in May 2019.
This exhibition is in collaboration with Art School Ilkley and Ilkley Arts and will showcase a selection of work based around moral narratives, symbols and the human form.
