Welcome to Ilkley Arts

We are a small charity (officially called a charitable incorporated organisation – CIO) based in Ilkley run by volunteers. Ilkley is famous for its beautiful moor with ancient rock carvings and its medieval Manor House.

Ilkley Arts has 3 main strands of activity – the annual Ilkley Art Trail, the Ilkley Arts studio that is a venue for exhibitions, workshops and is also home to the Ilkley Art School and the Ilkley Arts Creative Network where artists and creatives can come together to share ideas and thoughts about their and other artists’ work.

Our Mission

Our core mission at Ilkley Arts is:

To promote and celebrate the arts in Ilkley and surrounding areas to enrich the lives of residents and visitors.

To support and help the development of our exhibiting artists.

We work with a wide range of organisations to achieve this mission from those whose focus is on developing the younger generation such as Art School Ilkley, Bradford School of Art and Nell Bank Centre to those who are working with individuals, families and carers whose world involves dementia and other age related conditions.
